Hybrid Training
Hybrid Training is programming to simultaneously increase your performance in both strength and endurance using two different training methods. I specialize in hybrid training utilizing weightlifting and running. Increasing muscular strength while also improving cardiovascular performance-you aren’t doing one to enhance the other, but rather training both in equal parts. For a long time, coaches and athletes have been laser focused on either a) strength or b) endurance, but rarely a programming style to combine the two to push an athlete to peak performance. Exercise selection, programming and training load is essential when it comes to hybrid training.
